Hello all, name's Notloh. Been furry for as long as I can remember. Though I may be a wolf, I'm open to talking to any fur. If you're looking for a fur who'll talk about anything or nothing at all, hit me up.
I work in the veterinary field. Always being around furry friends is a great joy.
Thanks HadesWarpig!
How did I get here?
My story goes all the way back to 9th grade Latin class. For translation practice, we had to translate sections of Ovid's "Metamorphoses". Which story, specifically, I do not remember; but the idea of human becoming something other grew from there. I would spend my study hall time reading mythology and any other piece of literature tf related. I read the mythology of virtually every major culture then moved into werewolf stories and movies, which helped to forge my primary fursona.
Then with the popularization of the internet, yes I am an old one of the furry world, many more dimensions were opened. I lurked and scoured the websites of TSA, TSA-talk, Miavir, and the Transformation Webring; which brought multiple species and methods to my fingertips. As those started to fall apart, I moved on to CYOC, Doc's Lab, and YiffStar.
It was at YS that I built up the courage to become an active member of the community, and began offering my own writing to the masses. Building off the catalog of stories I had read, writing has become a cathartic release of the ghosts and ideas that have been bouncing in my head. Then FurSpace came into existence and here we are in a developing furry community.
Who am I?
I'm a permanently curious, slightly off-kilter, well seasoned individual. My curiosity has led me many places, mostly into sciences. If it has any scientific basis I've probably looked into it. The big three would have to be biology and related fields, philosophy, and robotics. My diverse interests caused me nothing but trouble in college academically, but I still managed to leave with a double major in biochemistry and computer science.
