I'd never heard of it. =/What I've gathered is, I'm gonna get driven over to Colorado (that's 1500-ish miles?), dropped off at "base camp," and learn a thing or two about the great outdoors for a whole week. Honestly, that's fantastic. =D There aren't many things I'd rather do all summer than spend my time somewhere not completely gridded in asphalt. My only concern is that it's one of those "group things" - I'm hiking abreast with ten or twenty guys my age, and the course expectations repeat, time and again, that you've got to be your sharpest and give your best effort. THAT I can do, THAT I have done, no problem. =P But team play simply isn't my forte. o.o; Now I did want to go through with this course but I was hesitant to sign up - until my mom did it for me.That was the paperwork equivalent of shoving a cattleprod up my ass. >.<; After that I couldn't help but fill out the application, for she'd already paid the $1700 and I wasn't about to slap her another financial strain, especially not in these times. (Besides, I might enjoy it, who knows? x3)Ah, mothers... I remember the day she signed me up for piano lessons as a gift. That was years ago, and I appreciated her efforts to please me. I never did really forget how to play that thing; I wonder if she deserves thanks? O.oWell to keep it straight, I was wondering if any readers have ever heard of - or, better still, been on - this program dealio, and what they've heard about or thought of it if that's the case. =3-Frost
