Today I got to go fishing. Just about my favorite damn thing in the world to do. It was wonderful, so worth wakeing up at 4clock AM. The great thing bout livin in oregon is that I am close to the ocean so I can go after bottom fish (SeaBass, cabazone, and Lingcod), salmon, and halibut. Today we went after Halibut.
I finally caught one, a forty five pound halibut, and reeled him in from around a depth of 255ft. That's a workout. I highly recomend spending the money to go fishing out on the ocean after halibut, bottom fish, or salmon. Even if it means spending money on a charter, cause the experience is like nothing else. (Course so is alot of things.)
